Known for his eccentric blend of English + عربي, Molham is a rising hip-hop artist from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He launched his debut EP The Time Is Yesterday in March of 2018, with features from Egyptian starlet Malak El-Husseiny and Minneapolis-native Yusra J. The project serves as a window into his thoughts on regret, manifestation, and mood swings. The EP's breakout single Me Against the World hit the top hip-hop charts in the Middle East & North Africa, trending across 7 different countries including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, UAE, Kuwait, and Morocco. Since the release, Molham has played shows across Jeddah, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi.
Raised between Saudi and Canada, Molham shifts between two polar identities — one evening he’s eating كبسة on the floor of an uncle’s wedding, and the next he’s at a red carpet festival in Santa Monica. Inspired by his Middle Eastern culture and Western upbringing, he takes a best-of-both-worlds approach towards his songwriting, melodies, and visuals. Growing up, he spent high school Math classes writing rhymes for his classmates. Later during his college years, he performed at coffee shops, talent shows, and radio stations in a duo called 705B.
Beyond creating music [and in between Dubai, Jeddah, and Riyadh], Molham is the founder of Hourglass Entertainment, a Saudi-based authentic entertainment company. He is a savvy serial entrepreneur [having launched 3 profitable startups before the age of 21], a strategy consultant for Bain & Company, and a writer for Forbes magazine, having graduated with a degree in Finance & Economics from Georgetown University.
Passion + Mission
Molham is passionate about driving and shaping the development of the GCC & the Middle East through music, business, and non-traditional education. His overarching mission is to empower the youth in Saudi Arabia to find personal freedom.
0 to 17
Born in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Molham moved to London, Ontario, Canada at the age of 5 with only "Hi, how are you?" and "Fine, thank you" in his arsenal of English phrases. At the age of 9, he returned to his hometown of Jeddah with a Canadian accent and a severe case of reverse culture shock. Not only was he then learning to re-embrace his culture, but also adapting to a new school environment as the "new kid" in a class of 5th graders. He struggled socially and academically, unable to connect with his classmates and failing test after test. Soon after, Molham discovered his passion for football, which fueled his middle & high school career trajectory. Fast forward to senior year, Molham graduated student body president, top of his class, and MVP athlete.
After graduating from Dar Jana International High School at the age of 17, Molham studied Entrepreneurship at the University of Tampa, before transferring to Georgetown University, where he graduated with a degree in Finance & Economics from the McDonough School of Business.
